Simple flower - crochet pattern
Pattern for simple flower
You'll need:
Yarn
Needle
Crochet Hook
Abbreviation:
MR - magic ring
sl st - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
st - stitch
dc - double crochet
tc - triple crochet (yarn over crochet hook twice)
Flower:
MR. 5 sc in the ring. Sl st to close the ring. (5)
1. ch, 2 sc in each st, sl st. (10)
2. *ch, [dc, tc, dc] in next st, ch, sl st in next st*. Repeat *-* 4 times then you have 5 petals. Don't do the last sl st, check the pictures below to make a nice ending by sewing the last sl st. Fasten the threads.
Cut the thread and pull it out from the st.
Thread the needle.
Stick the needle in the stitch you should've crochet the slip stitch.
Pull the needle and thread through. Stick the needle in the last crocheted stitch to make a nice finish.
Fasten the threads. Now you don't have the ugly knot you would've had if you crocheted the last slip stitch.
Middle of flower:
MR. 6 sc in the ring. Instead of crocheting the ring together you sew the slip stitch to make a nice finish (just like you did with the flower). Don't fasten the threads when you're done. Use the threads to fasten the middle to the flower.
Time to fasten the middle to the flower.
