Ellipse-blanket pattern (english)

This is my first written pattern in english so I hope you understand the pattern, otherwise just leave a comment and I will make the changes required for you to understand :)

I used a yarn called Drops Muskat and crochethook 4,0 mm.

Choose a basecolor (I chosed brown) and then choose what colours you want the ellipses to be (I choed beige, turqoise and light turqoise). Stripe the colors in the way you want it.

You work the project in rows and turn the project after each row.

Abbreviations:
Ch - chain
St - stitch
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - Half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Turning dc - 2ch

Pattern:
With basecolor, make the number of ch you need to make the blanket as wide as you want it (the number must be divisible by 10). I made 140 ch.
Row 1: Start in 2nd ch from hook och do sc the whole row (139). Change color in last sc.
Row 2: Ch. *Sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc, ch*. Skip one st and repeat *-* the rest of the row.
Row 3: Ch. *Sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc, ch*. Skip one st and repeat *-* the rest of the row. Change to basecolor in last sc.
Row 4: Ch. *9 sc, dc*. The dc is worked in the st from row 1 to "bind" the ellipse/make the oval shape. Repeat *-* the rest of the row.
Row 5: Ch. Sc the whole row. Change color in last sc.
Row 6: Turning dc. 2 dc, hdc, sc, ch. Skip one st. *Sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc, ch*. Skip one st and repeat *-* the rest of the row. The row is ending with the second dc.
Row 7: Turning dc. 2 dc, hdc, sc, ch. Skip one st. *Sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc, ch*. Skip one st and repeat *-* the rest of the row. The row is ending with the second dc. Change to basecolor in last dc.
Row 8: Ch. 4 sc, dc. The dc is worked in the st from row 5 to "bind" the ellipse/make the oval shape. *9 sc, dc*. Repeat *-* the rest of the row.
Row 9: Ch. Sc the whole row. Change color in last sc.
Repeat row 2-9 until you've reached the length you want.
